Tarah the Hydromancer was born in the grounds of the Prism Palace, nestled in the magical realm of Essencia. She is one of the twin daughters of King Eldric, who ruled the palace with wisdom and grace. Despite their identical birth, Tarah and her sister Tesah were each blessed with opposing elemental powers—Tarah with ice and water, and Tesah with fire. The village elders viewed their abilities as a sign of a greater destiny that would one day impact the fate of their realm.
As children, Tarah and Tesah were inseparable. However, their harmonious childhood was shattered when the armies of Exillora, led by Tavros and his malevolent commander, Kathysha the Witch, attacked Essencia. Their mission was to kidnap the twins and weaken the spirits of the Kingdom of Essencia. Although the attack was ultimately intercepted by the formidable guardians of the Prism Palace, the event left a mark on the kingdom.
In the aftermath, King Eldric, recognizing the imminent danger and the need for his daughters to master their powers for their own protection, made a difficult decision. Tesah was sent to Ember Peak, and Tarah was sent to Frostkeep, a northern sanctuary where she would train with the elders in the ways of ice and water. Under their tutelage, Tarah honed her hydromancer abilities, becoming adept at controlling the elements and using them both defensively and offensively.
Despite the separation from her sister, Tarah remained determined and focused. She knew that mastering her powers was not just about self-defense but also about fulfilling the destiny that the elders had foreseen. Her time in Frostkeep tempered her spirit, making her both resilient and wise.
When word of Sabara's dark forces threatening Essencia reached Frostkeep, Tarah knew it was time to return and join the fight. Guided by her sense of duty and the hope of reuniting with her sister, Tarah traveled to Attaleya, where she joined forces with Azabael and the Guardians of Balance. Together, they stand ready to confront Sabara and restore harmony to Essencia and beyond.
